About the AFREKID
Professionals
To provide an opportunity for
health care professionals treating African kidney patients
to exchange information and hear the latest research
findings, AFREKID sponsors international meetings each year
for nurses, technicians, dieticians and social workers, and
the Nephrology meetings, a multi-disciplinary meeting
providing sessions for nephrologists and other renal care
professionals as well as family physicians. We also produce
professional journals also help keep the renal community
informed of advances in the diagnosis and treatment of
kidney disease in African patients.
