Advocacy & Government Relations
AFREKID helps to shape public policy
on behalf of kidney disease patients. Together with our
local Divisions and Affiliates, we work with governments
in Africa and the UK and their agencies to further
legislation and regulation that improve the care and
quality of life of kidney disease patients.
Our public policy efforts are
supported by thousands of people and our nationwide
grassroots advocacy network comprised of chronic kidney
disease patients, transplant recipients, organ donors,
family, friends and health professionals.
