Resource for Kidney Diseases (AFREKID) to celebrate World Kidney
Day on Thursday 8 March 2012. This year's theme is "PROTECT
YOUR KIDNEYS, SAVE YOUR HEART." Kidneys and heart have a cause
effect relationship. Kidney disease contribute to heart
conditions, while heart conditions such as cardiovascular
conditions contribute over 40% of mortality rates post kidney
